Love the food, HOWEVER great food with terrible customer service isn't worth it. While working our 12 hour shift taking care of Shreveport's sickest on a beautiful Saturday, our nursing staff wanted something really good to pick up our spirits for a late lunch. We were denied placing our orders because we couldn't all pay together when picking the order up. Herby-K's is a do not miss, drive out of your way kind of place. I will not come back to LA without eating here. The atmosphere is perfect when it comes to the cool factor, the food is fabulous, and the staff & service was great. This is old school at its best. The place is a legend & now I know why. I recommend eating inside the first time to get the full experience, save the patio for your second visit.

Thanks to Thrillist for adding them to the list of best in Louisiana. This place is laid back country-cool with good customer service. The Gumbo and Etoufee sampler was great...but the kick was a bit delayed and spicy. Great hole in the wall for quick Shreveport trips.
Great food! Best fried pickles I've ever had! & the marinated crab claws were amazing!

Me and my hubby are team truck drivers and saw this restaurant and had to try it. It's the best bake catfish i ever had in Louisiana :)
