Brought my dog in to get porcupine quills removed, got her back shaking and afraid of the staff. Looked at her paws and saw that they chopped her nails off 60% up the way, including her quick!!! Didn't even ASK if they could cut her nails. Half of her nails had quick-stop on them and the other half were too bad for quick stop so they had to SINGE the quicks to stop them from bleeding. Herbst bet has cared for my dogs and cats, some through the end of life. We have always received the most compassionate care. I have even brought in my pet duck and rabbit. Every animal receives the same respect. Thank you Herbst.
Changing vets during the COVID period is a little stressful,but the Herbs Veterinary Hospital made the transition as pleasant as possible. From the scheduling of the appointment, the transfer of records, the thorough physical examination of our older rat terrier, to the payment process, we received excellent service.
Dr. Kimball and staff were fantastic diagnosing and treating our ferret. Dr. Kimball called personally to provide info and updates before and after surgery. Great communication and treatment!
Thank you Dr Willis & Katie for always taking great care of our boys Bexar & Teddy. We miss seeing and chatting with you all in the hospital but our curbside appointment was so easy today for Teddy!
We are so grateful for the Herbst team for seeing our kitty as an emergency yesterday. She tangled with a snake and got a nasty bite on her paw. They saw her right away and were superb! We are fans for the next 8 lives!
