Dr. Jay Herbst removed a skin cancer from my face. He was outstanding. He was highly professional and had a great bedside manner. I was apprehensive before I went in, but he reassured and calmed me. He is highly skilled. The procedure involved very little pain and was quite successful. I highly recommend him, and will always use him for any dermatology issues that arise.
My 1st Visit with Dr. Jay was Very Good! He was Friendly, Thorough, Explained about marks on the body. I was very pleased. I will continue to see him. My husband liked him as well. Gives us peace of mind.The Staff was also nice. Thanks Dr. Jay
Extremely knowledgeable and effective, he listens to your concerns and discusses a variety of treatment options. His staff is highly efficient scheduling appointments and his office visits are timely and well organized. I could not ask for more in a doctor. This review is being written after 3 years under his excellent care, and after trying 5 other Dermatologists who's only concern was billing treatments.

Dr. Herbst is amazingly friendly and thorough. He has the absolute best bedside manner of any Dr that I have seen in my entire life! He talks while he is looking and makes you smile and chuckle as he is working. You don’t feel uncomfortable at all. He is extremely gentle but also thorough. I would give him a ten star if possible!!
Dr. Jay Herbst, has been our dermatologist for over 20 years. He has treated both skin cancers, pre-cancerous lesions, skin injuries and other issues successfully over and over again. I can heartily recommend Dr. Herbst, to everyone for their skin care. He is the best Dermatologist in southwest Florida.
I have been going to Dermatologists most of my life and Dr. Jay Herbst is the very best. He is extremely know legible, professional and he listens to my concerns. He is the first Dermatologist that I have gone to that treated what concerned me and didn't try to needlessly carve me up to make insurance money.

I see Dr. Alexander Herbst, I was being treated at a wound care center for about a year with no luck. They referred me to Dr Alexander, he takes his time, he really cares about his patients. The staff also go above and beyond what they are expected to do. One lady was willing to meet me on her day off to take care of my leg. I’ve only been seeing Dr Alexander for about six weeks and my leg is almost completely healed. I couldn’t be happier and would recommend them with the highest confidence.
