Best present I received and gratefull was the return of use of my left hand.AFter no use for two years Dr Gates performed one operation on three areas of my left hand, thumb nuckle, small finger, and nerve damage in wrist. The operation was done on time.. Recovery was as discussed. Results were terrific.Staff was amazingly prompt ,polite and on time. Never had to wait in office more than 10 or15 min. I amputated the tip of my finger in July and ended up in the ER. I was told by the Dr. that I would need to see a hand surgeon. I contacted Dr. Gates’ office and they fit me in the next day. Dr Gates and his staff were great. Scheduled surgery to repair my finger within a few days. The surgery went better than I expected. Dr. Gates was able to save most of my fingernail and give my finger a normal shape. He provided physical therapy and follow up appointments and I have almost normal use of it.

I saw Dr. Gates at the recommendation of two former patients for bi lateral hand discomfort. Dr. Gates performed a cortisone injection to my right hand and suggested that I wait on the left insofar as it was in significantly less distress. I found his staff professional, and friendly. I found Dr. Gates the same. He spent some time explaininghow a broken wrist that I sustained 61 years ago did not heal correctly while showing comparison xrays. I have complete confidence in Dr. Gates.

I was referred to Dr. Gates for shoulder pain. After waiting an hour he gave me less than 5 minutes of his time, tersely explained that he thought I had a bone spur and that I should have surgery. He appeared to have no interest in me or my situation and when I declined a cortisone shot he basically got up and left. I can't imagine allowing someone with that attitude to perform surgery on me. The people who have good things about his practice must have him confused with someone else.

Dr. Gates and his staff were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and his nurse practitioner Kathy went above and beyond. Surgery and recovery were a breeze. Thank you so much for your EXCELLENT care! ??

Dr. Gates and his staff were phenomenal. I was in town visiting from Pennsylvania when I began having problems with tendonitis in my elbow. A friend suggested Dr. Gates and I was able to see him on short notice thanks to a cancellation. Great staff. Very clean office. Highly recommendable!

PROFESSIONAL, CARING AND SKILLED ARE A FEW WORDS I WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. GATES AND HIS STAFF BOTH IN THE OFFICE AND AT THE SURGICAL CENTER. DR. GATES WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS AN EXCELLENT SURGEON AND THAT CERTAINLY HOLDS TRUE. MY SURGERY WENT WELL AND I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN AFTER. NOT EVEN AN ADVIL WAS NECESSARY. I CAN ONLY SAY THANK YOU .

Dr. Gates is a family oriented Doctor who listens to his patients; an outstanding surgeon; very knowledgeable, straight forward & honest. He has a great staff beginning with the front desk, great nurses & his physical therapists who also work at the same location. Dr. Gates has performed work in my right hand & aLao recent left shoulder surgery. I began to go to Dr Gates years back & it was he who discovered the problem with my right hand. Dr Gates is a great surgeon & he's highly recommended.
