Let me start by saying I am a home health RN. I have worked with many home visiting physicians. My dad started with this company while I was travel nursing. He waited a year for a cardiac referral and just passed away from a heart attack 3 weeks ago.... still waiting for the cardiac referral. The law is that a MD or NP has 5 days to sign a death certificate, but they took 2 weeks and 1 day to sign it. They only did it after I sent a text of the law and told them I was going to report them to the board.
We had a very frustrating experience with Hephzibah Visiting Clinicians. Our son’s doctor had a temporary lapse in his contract with our insurance, so his practice asked Hephzibah Visiting Clinicians to provide care until the contract was renewed. We never scheduled an appointment with them ourselves—they created one automatically. I called multiple times to cancel and left messages clearly stating that we did not want an appointment and that they needed to cancel anything they had scheduled for my son.
