Hentkowski, Inc. just replaced our 17 year old Carrier heater and central air conditioner, which were the original units in our home. Although both units never had a problem and were still in working condition, we felt it was time to upgrade and modernize with a new Carrier Infinity system. I had them come out to inspect my furnace, he didn't even want to look at it and said it was old and needed to be replaced. The guy tried to use scare tactics of carbon monoxide poisoning showing me results of 4-5 ppm. I call a friend, who works for Carrier, look at the system measure the temp in combustion chamber and air flows (in-take and exhaust) basic conclusion was that I needed a new blower.... Don't trust these guys... they only are interested in money.
I would highly recommend the professional team at Hentkowski Inc. for HVAC problems. I had a chimney puff in the winter (not because of a heater they installed). The technicians responded immediately, made several trips to determine the cause (cracked heat exchanger), worked with the insurance company during the clean up, and sent an invoice for a VERY fair price. I had to shut down the heater when the problem was diagnosed, and Hentkowski Inc. brought electric space heaters to keep both me and the water pipes from freezing.... read more
