Not worth it for the price ($1145/month not including electricity and wifi; studio). Awful amenities. There is no dishwasher in my room. The room has bad soundproofing. You can hear music from your neighbor. The nearby frat houses always play loud music in such bad taste on weekends. One elevator broke for two months until it was repaired. The washing machine room was always dirty and stinky. The landlord charged $200 for “damage cleaning” of normal wear and tear. EDIT: I USED TO LOVE IT HERE. I don't know if management had turnover, but Kyle W was a great agent they let go and ever since this place has been inhospitable. People constantly leave trash, takeout containers, and even drugs in the common spaces and piling up on fire exits. It is disgusting. I could not even take my own trash out due to the sheer pile of garbage blocking the exit. There are only 2 working laundry machines, they are gross, and people never take their stuff out on time. The big window in the room is nice. The furniture is new and clean. The maintenance staff always responds quickly. The administrative staff is extremely kind and helpful. Especially I want to thank Kyle Wiegand, Cassie Carney, and whoever helped find my lost package. They really did me a big favor.
Steve Brown Apartments has been a fantastic location to rent from, and I would highly advise a friend to rent from them. For the past two years, I've been living in a studio apartment at the Henry Gilman Apartments, and I strongly recommend it due toits wonderful location and pleasant staff.
