I want to fix the spelling so bad... it is giving me grief. Ha! But the hospital itself is beautiful and everyone is great.
Waited for over 4 hours for stitches. Was given very large, spaced out stitches (4), when I'm told there should have been at least 10-12. No medication prescribed or offered in the 4 hours I waited, bleeding profusely. Not even Tylenol. Because the wound was so poorly stitched, it is still not healed two weeks later. Had to remove the stitches though, as they were tearing my skin and the knot was digging in to the original laceration.
I have been a patient there 3 times, so far, this year. Everyone who had anything to do with my health care was very generous with their time and talent. I believe in Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. May they continue to be blessed with grey employees!
