The PCT in the ER was very rude. My son is 12yrs old with a history of asthma. The PCT checked his vitals ONCE and had us waiting for over an hour to receive care. When I asked the PCT if she should check his vitals again and she ignored me and continued to state that she could not understand my writing on the form. HFH is my mothers hospital. Continuous issues with the latest being her dr sent her to ER because blood clots in her legs showed up on a vascular test. She’s been waiting over 3 hours in the WAITING ROOM because there are no available beds. She’s 85 and has back issues and the chairs are so uncomfortable how is she supposed to handle that???

I must say the staff at Wyandotte Henry Ford hospital has been great. Everyone has been kind and helpful, the food is good, and they keep the pain controlled. Afternoon and night shift. Beats the other hospital in these parts hands down. I even have a great view.
The only healthcare system that actually runs how a hospital should, as opposed to a for-profit business. Henry Ford is actually all-about the patient.
I am so grateful for the care I received at HF Main Campus in June. Dr. Abouljoud, my surgeon, and all the other medical staff treated me with care. I will never forget them. It was a scary time for me, but they helped me get through it. I'm keeping them in my prayers as the hospital navigates its way through the pandemic. God bless them all. (Dr. Abouljoud is the best!)
