I took my dad in for his appointment last week and Dr Ferreyra was amazing. He explained everything so well, discussed other options. My dad needed more imaging and instead of making him come back again he made sure everything was done at the same appointment. I honestly haven’t seen a doctor this good in such a long time. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and doesn’t make the patient feel rushed, he genuinely seems to care.
I saw Dr. Ferreyra for a strange spot in my vision. Even though he had to manage an emergent retinal detachment that put his clinic behind 1 hour, he took the time to explain everything with me. I see and interact with lots of physicians, and Dr. Ferreyra has a great bedside manner. He didn't make me feel rushed at all. Highly recommended for anyone going to Shiley.
Had surgery under general anesthesia for a detached retina. Very professional in explaining the procedure and what to expect. I am still in the healing phase so follow up is ongoing. I appreciated his kind bedside manner and taking time to answer all my questions. I felt like I was a patient, not a number.
This doctor was very well recommended by several people I know.
