ER wait times and response are ridiculous. Triage response and what patient quantity they can handle at one time is severly lacking. need more ER staff and rooms to support the community.
RecommendedI recently spent time with a family member on 3rd floor & he received excellent care. His nurse, Nicci Harrod, was wonderful.
Waited in the ER waiting room forever while my daughter had a deep laceration on her chin that was bleeding. Once we finally got into a room. We waited 30 mins and i finally had to go to the nurses station (all the nurses were just talking and standing around) and ask how long it was going to be before someone could finally come into my daughter’s room and close her big open laceration. RecommendedI would like to thank the entire staff at the hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Mobley and everyone on the 2nd floor from the nurses to housekeeping. I am scared if I tried to name all the names of the nurses I would miss one and everyone deserves to be recognized especially Angie. The care and kindness you showed us while Johnny was in the hospital deserves to be acknowledged. I have never seen a kinder caring staff. Thank you for making our stay there the best it could be. The Emergency Room is TERRIBLE!!!! I cannot stress that enough!!! The staff is rude! They left owe in the floor from a patient i had to request to be cleaned up....they stripped a lady to do a EKG in the waiting room in front of everyone...then left my one year old with a 103 fever just sitting in the waiting room and when they were asked about got defensive and called security!!! Please do not bring anyone you love here!!!
I used to work for HCMC I ended up having to quit due to harassment.bullying.and sexual harassment...I've even hired a lawyer.but unfortunately they have not responded and now after months of trying to work something out in being forced to go public ..I will be contacting media and newspapers..NOT a good environment to be involved in.
worst place I've ever been to in my Life people piled up everywhere some man almost dying the woman crying I think my whole purpose was there to help people settle down calm down you guys are a joke. After being there over 10 hours I told them I was leaving. They wanted to know what room I was in. I told them to figure it out and left.
I sat in the waiting room over 6 hours!!! After coming in after a car accident with chest pain and lower back pains.... When the nurse came out to get me to take me back to the room she was extremely rude never said sorry for your wait or anything instead she told us if we didn't want to wait that long we could have went somewhere else. As I am making my way to my room she is still being aggressive towards me as I am in severe pain!!!! I came in with a broken ankle bleeding badly in my work boot...I had to grab a nurse by the arm and remind them twice after 2 hours waiting...as I sat there trying not to pass out from the pain I witnessed 7 people yell at the desk people that they have been sitting there for 4 hours...just for them to tell me they do not work on this kind of wound...I asked to be transferred to Nashville but they had no ambulances....so they rolled me into a corner and left me there for another hour giving me nothing for the bad pain...I wa... read more
