While shopping in NYC, my daughter and I stopped in to browse and buy something before they close forever as we live out of town. Two girls who worked there, were discussing how people that shop at a certain store, that I won't name, are trash and disgusting human beings. Wether one shops there or not, I find that mentality to think of yourself as better than someone and call someone trash and disgusting is not a place I want to shop. I have been a customer for a long time. One of the many things I have purchased with them is a 4 pc luggage set. I have only used the smaller suit case twice and the bottom piece is coming off. After calling to discuss the repair and sending photos of the wheels to show it is still brand new, I was told that there is nothing Henri Bendel will do to resolve my issue. I am not at all surprised that the stores are closing after experiencing this type of customer service. I will not be purchasing any more of their product.
RecommendedClassic , iconic, NY & HB go hand in hand. So disappointed to hear HB is closing...hard to believe. Love the HB pieces I have, none of which have been defective as what has been shared/posted here...change in quality control, manufacturing?
I’m really disappointed in how the customer service has gone down and their lack of attention to detail. My order has been wrong twice, and all they could do was refund my $5 for monogramming. So much time wasted on waiting and didn’t even receive the item I originally asked for.
I was very excited to visit the 5th Avenue store for the first time, after discovering Henri Bendel this year. I shopped in the store for 45 minutes, passed at least 5 or 6 employees...one briefly spoke to me. When I made a purchase, again I was not spoken to, except for quoting the total of my purchase. So disappointing. No service= bad service. I had higher expectations given the experience I had at Tyson’s Corner. Much higher caliber employees!
Love all of their stuff... great quality!!
