I have had an unacceptable experience with Hendricks Real Estate since January, and it is still unresolved. After flagging suspiciously high utility bills, I was told by Hendricks they were normal and assured my meters weren’t connected to my neighbors. Later, I discovered four pre-existing gas leaks. An electrician confirmed my gas and water lines had been mixed up with my neighbors, meaning I had been paying for their usage. Poor business done by this group, do not recommend anyone use them to sell property or manage property. Poor communication, lack of flexibility, show a lack of respect routinely. Small things such as getting someone’s name correctly or larger things like communicating or coordinating moving in and out locations. Bad job all around.
Please be very cautious when dealing with this company. If you're doing rentals through them, save your families and your money. They are very unprofessional. When it comes to maintenance on homeowners properties that you are renting for a high dollar amounts. Kevin was great to work with and he’s been of great assistance since I expressed interest in the apartment. It’s refreshing to rent from a company that is so responsive and on top of things compared to all these giant companies that will make you jump through hoops to just to talk to the right person. I can't say enough nice things about Kevin. My daughter was shopping for her first apartment in Austin and he was so helpful. From the first conversation with him she said he had good "Dad vibes" in how he spoke with her and she felt like he was knowledgeable and honest .
