We had been going to VCA black mountain animal hospital for many years. Last time i was also charged 150+ what a shock. Stephanie was not very nice and made me feel like we could never come back also sent me Maxie Wiklunds medical records via email. I love the groomers Donna and Faye and my dog likes no one else but them. I paid the overcharge and left. Miss the old staff Dr. Wallace and Augustine. No one reimbursed the overcharge.

VCA Black Mountain Animal Hospital: first and last time coming here. 😡 I had my dog groomed here on Friday- 9 am appointment. They told me it was going to be $89 to groom with a mild sedation (he gets really nervous and drools at lot but is not violent). They also require a doggy flu shot for $40. When he was done at 4:30 we paid $128 over the phone before picking him up. When we got there to pick him up they said we owed another $50 for the grooming because the $89 was only the sedation not the grooming. I informed them wa... read more

After the storm here yesterday, our baby birds fell from their nest, one baby didn't make it. I called the Henderson bird sanctuary who recommended I contact VCA Black Mountain Animal Hospital. I am so thankful you were able to care for the baby bird, it's a little fighter. I would definitely recommend Black Mountain Hospital, the staff is very caring!!!🐦
The Dr. we seen was Awesome. It was the front desk staff that were rude and condescending. (DeeDee & Joanie) Acted as if they would rather be anywhere else than working today! Understandable ppl have bad/good days - just not a great way to keep NEW customers! We won't be back!
