I don't always go to restaurants of this caliber, but when I do, it's because.......I have no self control when it comes to good eats. I've been here a dozen times or so, and I hope to return again and again. The food quality is a force to be reckoned with and I’ve never had a bad meal here! The HOTW crew is friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and non-intrusive. They offer small, locally sourced plates with incredible attention to detail. Every dish is amazing. It's been our 7th or 8th time at Hen of the Wood, and the products (mostly local Vermont producers), service and creativity makes it special! We are from Montreal and we have excellent restaurants....but we still drive down to our favorite one in Burlington!
