We had dinner last night and had a party of 5. Our waitress was pleasant and took great care of us all. We always start with the onion rings appetizer and it never fails. They are great. Lots of food for the cost. My husband had the salmon and he loved it, I had the Hen house special and they always let me substitute the steak for more shrimp. I had a blast eating blue crab here! The staff was awesome. A guy from the kitchen even came out to show me the proper way the eat blue crab. I was a rookie now I feel lile a pro! This is a must visit restaurant when in Frostburg.
This was our second time for dining here. We had a very enjoyable evening. Ate out on the porch. We shared the 10 oz steak, fried chicken, BBQ ribs and shrimp for $38. It was a most delicious meal. Reasonable price. Wrote a review and had caramel cheesecake. Will plan to return.

Tonight I visited the hen house with my daughter and granddaughter. Even though it was busy we were seated almost right away. The entire staff was super friendly and even waiters and waitresses that were not assigned to our table were more than helpful. The crab cake was one of the best I have ever had. (And I know crab cakes as I am from Baltimore). An all around awesome vist.
Always our go to restaurant! Their food is always delicious and the service is great!
All of the food I've had has been very good, but I think their fried chicken is the best I've ever had.
