We usually use to sister vet on Woodward Avenue and LOVE them. They have always loved on our dogs and been very helpful, as well as impressed with how well our dogs behave and interact with other animals and people. While the phone is forwarded to Helton I have been very disappointed with the interactions I have had with the vet himself. While this vet has not only never laid eyes on either one of my dogs before making a judgment he was also not at all pleasant on the phone. I can't say how much I appreciated Dr. Whitlow and the staff. We had to take our Daisy in today to be put down. He was so kind and sympathetic. She was such a sweet soul. He was in no rush and so kind to her. Thank you so much for making a difficult decession a little less difficult.
I can't say enough about Dr. Whitlow and his entire staff. I had a really bad scare this morning with my 15 year old dog. It was right before the office opened, so I called and told them I was on my way. They assured me that when Dr. Whitlow got there he would check him out. I was concerned about leaving him to go on to work, but Dr Whitlow called me in a short time and explained the problem in depth. He was very kind and concerned and gave me the answers I needed.
