RecommendedDr. Nelson and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. My dog is very nervous about the vet and Dr. N made him feel comfortable and the treatment was a complete success. They always call the next day to follow up. We switched after our vet of 10 years couldn't see us in a timely manner. So glad we did! Thanks to the entire staff!
Tobias doesn’t love many people but he does very well with Dr Nelson who is an outstanding veterinarian- I recommend Helping Paws to all pet owners in the area you won’t be disappointed:)

Clear communication, various options offered that respect my values and finances, short wait time, flexible schedule allows calm routine and emergency visits, a friendly and excellent staff. While the animals are definitely the heartfelt priority, people also receive their best.
Staff is very friendly. Usually gets me in same day. Dr. Nelson takes the time to answer all your questions. So happy I found his practice when we got Griffin our bulldog puppy. He has been right there with me for all Griffey’s little issues. He works great with Griffin & gets right on the floor with him, even though he is a 60lb tank and he will be covered with hair lol. They also call to follow up. Highly recommend!
Extremely friendly and knowledgeable
I have a new puppy and these folks have been great. They got me in right away when we discovered she had worms. On our second visit, my little girl didn’t even know she got two shots. Very nice, informative and friendly. Would definitely recommend them.
they are a great vets office and they really care about animals
Our Gracey Lynn was struggling with a UTI until Dr Nelson figured out what was wrong with her ! Very compassionate and understanding staff!
