I cannot say enough about Helping Hands Center Valley. My daughter is 3 and absolutely loves going there and her therapists! They love her too! When she first started she was non-verbal and had some aggressive behaviors (pinching, biting, scratching) when upset. Those negative behaviors are now non-existent! She is also able to identify verbally all of her letters and numbers (in any order) when asked or independently as she wants to. I cannot express how much we absolutely love HHF- Center Valley! We were told to look into ABA therapy for our son, and after much hesitation, because of all of the different things you hear about ABA, we met with the staff at HHF and immediately felt good about it! Some of the big things I've been asked or told about ABA is that it teaches the kids that they don't have autonomy, to sit, be quiet, and follow directions.. Or that having autism and stims are bad.. Our daughter has been going to HHF Lehigh Valley for 7 months now and we couldn’t be happier we chose them for her ABA therapy. They have been so crucial in helping our daughter. When she started there she was not talking at all, she was very reserved, didn’t handle certain situations well and was always having meltdowns. After, a few months of being there, she started talking and rarely has meltdowns. The staff communicate well with the parents and are always willing to help. This place is gross.saw roaches on the floor dead and alive when I went with my friend to pick up their child.crumbs EVERYWHERE.(and on my friends child’s belongings) they don’t care about their staff,don’t take their concerns seriously.ive heard horror stories from past employees (friends of friends)how they are treated.i would personally never let my child in this place.do better. word travels a long way 😉
