Dr. Macnicol is probably the best Dr. I’ve ever been to. He and the staff are so caring and after quite a few years of trying to figure out how to tackle my pain and migraines he casually mentioned pain reprocessing therapy (I really took to it) and I’ve been nearly neck pain free for several months now and managing migraines with Botox. Cannot thank him and his assistant enough 🙌🏻
This was the worst experience I ever had. At my first appointment with Dr.McNichol completely dismissed my symptoms. He told me there’s nothing wrong with my back and that I have Fibromyalgia with absolutely no basis, other than IBS, headaches and my back pain. Just said we have to figure out why Im in pain, when I responded with it’s my job he never even asked what I do? Dr McNicol and her staff truly care and run the most efficient clinic!
I highly recommend the Helmcken Pain Clinic. I suffer from chronic pain due to cervical stenosis and osteoarthritis. Dr. MacNicol has helped immensely in increasing my quality of life. I have had 5 radio frequency ablations and the quality of care that I’ve received has made it much easier to show up and have these done. Dr. MacNicol is definitely a pro and I feel I’m in good hands when having a somewhat stressful procedure done.
Absolutely shocked by the care I received here, unlike most BC health facilities Dr. Brophy and the Helmcken clinic has delivered timely, thorough and comprehensive care, more like the Mayo clinic than a BC clinic! Bravo! 6/5 stars!!!
