nice vintage stuff Hello World sells both new and old items. It is a great gift store where you will find all sorts of collectibles, home accents, and furniture. The store is pretty large and located along Antiques Row. They have some really unique items and most are in excellent condition. If you are looking for a neat gift or a unique item for your house, Hello World is the place to check out. Their prices can be high, but then again a lot of their items are one of a kind. Their pottery collection and clocks are my favorit... read more
Cute store with good gift items I pop in from time to time when I need a gift. They have unique small items that are not too expensive like wallets and jewelry. The best thing I got recently I kept for myself - a little wooden ring which was only $10 (most of the jewelry is a bit more than that). The merchandise seems to rotate frequently enough to keep things interesting too.
Unique gifts There are 2 of these stores, and note that the Locust location has just moved to 20th Street between Spruce and Locust (as of 3/2006) between Maxx's produce and Twenty Manning. I always love browsing at Hello World, since you never know what you'll find. They have unique handbags (some handmade I think), sofa cushions, jewelry, and various home accents and furnishings. If you are looking for something different, then I would check out Hello World. While the items can be pricey, they are one of a kind, so really ... read more
Great store for gifts and handbags Hello World recently moved from this location I believe. This is a great little shop which the most unique handbags in the city. I love eclectic style purses and am a large collector of them. I have purchased quite a few from Hello World and have even gotten a few gifts here for friend's for their birthdays. If you are looking for a unique gift or are a lover of unmatchable handbags than please check this store out. You won't be disappointed.
Quirky, beautiful, off-beat objects - a great gift store Although they tend to be on the slightly pricey side, the fun, one-of-a-kind pieces offered by this store are perfect for gifts. I've bought things here for many of the women in my life, and everything I've gotten has been received with praise and excitement. Perfect things for anyone who likes jewelry, scarves, or home decor that's more about quality and design than anything else. PROS: Fun, quirky, one-of-a-kind, artistic CONS: Slightly expensive
Great store Some have mentioned the pricier gifts here, but there are a lot of things that are extremely affordable. I've gotten gifts for under $25 that look like they could have been very expensive. Also, they offer a frequent buyer card so that after 12 purchases over $25, you can get anything in the store half price...I got a very expensive necklace for not so much with this deal.
Hello Gifts This is a great store to buy a gift, or treat yourself. The owner has a special knack for buying a range of items from various costs. You can always find something in your price ranges. All categories of gifts from jewelry, bags, baby items, house wares, decorative items.
Excellent collection of Cute Gifts and Trinkets - Little Pricey Hello World has 2 locations - the one here on 20th street is newer but really much of the same. Lots of cute gifts for when you just can't find the right thing! Sort of expensive at times but worth it for those one of a kind gifts. I highly recommend it to any one at all. Give Hello World a shot!
