I'm a latino from out west who knows and loves mexican food. The first time I ate there I tried the torta and it was pretty tasty. However, since then, I've tried ordering numerous times on random days of the week and EVERY time they are completely out of their bolillo rolls on which they make their tortas. This is both ridiculous and unacceptable. Inevitably, I end up placing an improvised order for tacos, or burritos, or quesadillas and have yet to be impressed with anything I've received. These are people who care about food and it comes through in the quality. They don't care about customers, however, so be prepared to be ill-treated. But if you can stand the disrespectful customer service, the food is certainly enjoyable.
Taco Tuesday is a real deal. The food here is excellent and the staff and owners make sure your experience is top shelf. The best fish Tacos I have had in Portland. Great Craft Beers (either on tap or in cans). You cannot go wrong stopping by Hella Good Tacos...and plenty of parking. Thanks for a great evening on our last visit.
