well known for always be jerks known for their cocky attitude for years .i bought 2000 mountain bike 2 years ago no one gave me a proper fitting and when i went back to buy some accessories 3 weeks later they had no idea who i was.lets be honest bike mechanics are in the back for a reason no personality and always pissed off.next time use the santa monica helens but do yourself a favor and get a cervelo .
Service with Attidude These guys are really too cool for me. I rode my bike to Helen??s Santa Monica store on a Friday for service. I was told that it was a one week turn around so I decided to make an appointment in two weeks, my next Friday off. Took my bike in on that Friday and Salesperson said it would be ready the next day. Went in on Sunday and no one had touched it. Wanted to speak with Manager but he was busy with a customer. It is always busy at Helen??s, maybe that is why Helen??s can treat people like crap.
Great service and great bikes What a terrific bike shop. A bit on the small side but if they don't have what you want, they'll find it for you. Helen's specializes in Trek, not bad considering that's what Lance rides. They have bikes for children as well as adults and all the biking accessories you need - helmets, clothing, tools, tires. On site service department too. Friendly and helpful staff. Four other locations in the LA area.
Bike Shop If you need anything done that is related to your bicycle this is your place. They can sell you one, fix yours and they have plenty of equipment to go along with it. I bought spinning shoes here and they were very friendly and helpful.
Neighborly Feel I never get the impression I am being squeezed to get something I don't need. The maintenance they perform is right on and affordable. They usually have everything you need on hand to equip your biking needs. Parking is a bit of a pain, but for good service, it's worth going to folks you trust.
