She hasn’t responded to my blood work or my calls and cancelled my medication with no explanation and it’s been over a month and no response since my bloodwork which has been 3 weeks now. I called last week it being the second or third time I called and still no response. Will be finding a new doctor.
Dr. Stosel is knowledgeable and takes time to get an accurate diagnosis, but don't expect quick answers. The real problem is her staff -- they rarely answer calls, don't return messages, delay or refuse pre-authorizations, and are often rude. On urgent occasions, the they refused to help unless more money was involved. Routine visits are fine, but if you need timely care or responsiveness, look elsewhere.
The Dr. is caring and professional but the office staff is rude and disorganized. I am not sure if the Dr. is even aware of this but it makes it nearly impossible to get anything done. When following up on anything the staff makes you feel like you are bothering them and provides no help and only puts you off to call back later. Such a bummer because the Dr. is great.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Stosel since March 2018. She helped me bring my A1C from the high 9’s down to the low 7’s. I’m almost at a 6 now! Dr. Stosel helped me get on the right pump, introduced me to the dexcom cgm (which completely changed my life) and helped me get on the right type of insulin for my body. She is very knowledgeable and the sweetest most kind person in the world. She truly gets to know her patients. She asks the right questions to make sure she gives you the best medical needs specified to you.
