I had the same experience with Dr. Hostin. I used to wait for over 40 minutes and when she would get to me she was very passive aggressive and rushed thru appointment. That last draw for me, due to her rushing, she printed up some paperwork for me to take home and when I looked she had given me someone else paperwork. The paperwork detailed personal details of another patient inclusive of the person's social security. Not the most pleasant experience…Won’t go into detail with what happened to me medically; but something was wrong and needed an emergency appointment. She was cold, very judgmental, dismissive and hustled me out. I had a gut feeling that I needed to go back to her on my way back to my car to go home after my appointment. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hostin for 20 years. She is an awesome doctor. I also brought my daughter to her when she was 13 for her first GYN appointment. She is kind, thorough, and always makes us feel comfortable. Dr. Hostin is professional, gentle, and incredibly knowledgeable. She has a direct manner and is easy to communicate with. This is not brunch with the girls; it’s a GYN appointment. No one goes there to having fun. If someone walks in expecting a rosé-and-giggles experience, they'll probably be let down.
