Dr. Heilbroner always helps us when we need him, he is very respectful of our beliefs, and he always goes far and beyond. As a parent with an autistic kid is hard to find someone who has the patience, knowledge and dedication. I’m just very thankful for all he does for my son Nickolas.

I must warn you that if you are considering an appointment with Dr. Peter L. Heilbroner, you should be aware that his demeanor can be quite unpleasant. I came prepared with a list of questions, but he didn’t even take the time to look at them. Even when I read my questions aloud, he refused to engage. His tone was rude, and the way he treated us left us feeling terrible. I regret exposing my child to this experience. Dr. Heilbroner works well with my son, asks all the right questions, and treats him with respect. He takes the time to listen, provides thoughtful guidance, and ensures that we feel confident and informed throughout the entire process.
I took my daughter to see Dr. Heilbroner due to concerns for ADHD. He never asked me or her teachers to fill out evaluations prior, which I had done in the past for my older son with ADHD and a different doctor. He also never took the time to speak to me not in front of my seven year old daughter, so I didn’t feel I could fully answer all his questions honestly. He took very little time with us and seemed to have very little understanding of how ADHD typically presents in girls. We will not be returning.
I appreciated how well Dr. Heilbroner related to my son.
The thing that stands out most to me is that Dr. Heilbroner asked the exact right questions and shows empathy. Very helpful in getting his patients better.
