Doctor was good. However I called for lab results 1 week after surgery and not available. Called 2 weeks after surgery and results located. I was told it was being given to the nurse who would call. I am still waiting for that call 5 days later. Life has enough stress without this extra stress from inconsiderate, uncaring, incompetent office staff.
Dr. Bahna, her colleagues, and the staff provided excellent and empathetic service and care. I appreciate their thorough and thoughtful approach to a delicate matter. Highly recommend!

Dr. Heidi Bahna performed rectal surgery on me, October 12, 2021, at JFK Medical Center. She was recommended to me by my GI doctor. I saw Dr. Bahna in her office and that is THE ONLY TIME I saw her. She never came in to see me prior to the surgery nor did I see her after the surgery. Nothing about the procedure was explained to me and I was sent home without any idea of what to expect. Would definitely recommend Dr Bahna but not her staff. Very lax on any kind of responsiblilty when it comes to her patients. Very disappointed in how irresponsible they are.
Excellent surgeon, very knowledgeable. Definitely would refer her to others.
Super amazing Dr. Bahna (and staff) was very thorough and thoughtful in listening and had a very genuine and caring approach to my medical care in such a sensitive area and topic.

This woman is a gift to medicine. Highly educated, delightful bedside manner and totally available to the patient. And that’s very refreshing in modern healthcare. She’s not a dart in, dart out, you’re just a number kinda Doctor. And I speak from personal experience that she is a wonderful surgeon also.
