Dr. Hegeman is great! He's thorough, professional, well educated, honest and efficient. He works as quickly as possible, which is great for someone like me with TMD because it decreases time spent with my jaw open. He is no nonsense (read: blunt), which I really appreciate, but some people may not. He also has a great sense of humor. Crack a joke with him, I dare you! For cleanings, he is hands on. If you're a woman and you like to be talked down to, this is your guy. Nice office, probably a decent dentist from a technical point of view, but his attitude is a deal-breaker. Consistently condescending to female patients, has an entirely different tone with men.
