Good experience! Very caring. – I found these vets honest and caring and passionate in helping my dog. I like it that they are interested in taking the time to talk to me about the concerns I had.

Excellent experience! – I recently took my kitten to Hecht Vet Hospital to get her spayed and had an great experience with them. The office staff was very polite and patient with my nervous cat. She was aggressive during her stay there (to my embarrassment) and the staff was more than professional and understanding about it. Unlike the other reviewer here, I thought that their prices were VERY reasonable especially for the excellent care that they gave.

Hang onto your Wallet – Folks, Don't expect the same inexpensive down home service from the new crew that we've gotten from Dr Hecht these many years. The new management is staffed with inexperienced and very young "know-it-alls" who are intent on brow beating you into all those never ending extra tests and and expenses which do nothing to give you just the good basic health care for you pet that Dr Hecht offered. But these rascals do plenty to pad up your tab. You will never get the same vet twice here because they are staf... read more

I've been taking my dogs and now rabbits to Hecht for 25 years. Doesn't overcharge, always takes good care of them, and doesn't try to sell you items or procedures that aren't needed. Even though the Doc is retired, the new people are very nice and my two female Holland Lops have been spayed, and they are both doing well. Prices very very reasonable compared to other clinics in the area.

Don't loose the no nonsense approach what – Still a good place to take your pet. Note to the new owners -- Don't loose the no nonsense approach which made Hecht Veterinary what it is today.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! – Dr. Hecht is amazing. He really knows his stuff and he doesn't over charge for anything like any of the other vets in Tulsa. He doesn't try to mislead you into having to pay for test after test either. I took my pets to Marina for years and had to deal with their crap and outragious prices. I found Dr. Hecht when I was looking for a place to get my two dogs fixed. Every place I called wanted over 200 dollars for each! I love my dogs, but I simple didn't have that much money. So I found hecht and ... read more

it's a wart! – I had been taking my dog to Banfield until they said a procedure to remove a small growth on her back would be atleast $800 and with the "tests and medication to make sure the tumor is not malignant" the total would be around $1,900. I unfortunatly had to decline and let my dog live in discomfort not knowing if she had cancer. Shortly later when my dog began vomiting water I took her to the closest vet, Dr. Hecht. He told me that she had disentery & to feed her yogurt & cottage cheese. While I was there I aske... read more

You can't please everyone – I love Dr. Hecht. I've had the privledge of being a part of the Hecht Vet Clinic family. I think that it's wonderful that Dr. Hecht doesn't charge an arm and a leg for the smallest of services. He's been doing this for so long that it's all old hat to him...yet he takes the time to be compassionate and caring. He's no nonsense, and so are the people at the counter. What an achievement to be nominated for the best Vet in Tulsa by the Urban Tulsa Magazine. Although he didn't win, his nomination over... read more

Glad I switched to this Vet – My dog had breathing problems for months. We were very concerned. Our regular vet tried various things to clear it up but he got no better. He was talking about next trying expensive tests. Thankfully I heard about Dr. Hecht! I was told his prices are very reasonable and this was correct. Even better, my dog got better ALMOST IMMEDIATELY!! I mean, less than one day! Several people at my work had talked about switching to him because he is so good, so the negative note about 20 year patients bein... read more
