Just in Heberts- none of the people working with the food behind the counter were wearing masks, one guy even sneezed. The cashiers didn’t have on mask and most customers didn’t. All this while while the cases of COVID in Lafayette are surging. it was pretty gross and scary

Despite living in this area for 7 years and even eating at the burger place next door I never made it to Hebert's and let me say- I am the one missing out. After finally making it there about a month ago I was so impressed. They have a large storefront with a huge variety of meats and sides to choose from. Being able to go to my hometown meat market all the way in Houston is the best! If you don't know what to get, try it all! Their stuffed chickens are the greatest, quickest meals I could eat at least once a week. Their hamburger patties are also huge and delicious. Chicken Diablo is another staple- chicken wrapped and stuffed with bacon,jalapeno,cream cheese. You can't go wrong with anything here.
