a gem in Encino Great bang for you buck! I really enjoyed my massage. Really nice staff , quite and great massages. Cheap and good place for massage! A no-frill professional place for a quick destress. The staff is friendly and professional. My therapist is Mona and she does know how to get rid of my knots in my shoulders. I felt reborn afterwards. The best part, it's only $40 for 1 hr of massage- a gem in Encino!

I would have given this place 5 out of 5 stars. Definitely recommended. I went to Vara Thai Spa for the first time last year and felt at home immediately. The massage lady (i think her name was Sunny) made me feel welcome and comfortable. I've had a fierce pain in my lower back but after a couple of sessions the pain subsided. Vara is the best !! Loved getting a massage here. Especially with Sunny. She know my body more than myself. Place is really clean and the massage I got was great. If you're a fan of deep tissue, the guys here (and gals, I'm sure) are perfectly capable of mashing you into a fine paste, and it's really pretty bliss inducing. I am absolutely a regular here and highly recommend!! The staff are all incredibly nice, but don't let their soft demeanors fool you. They will ask how much pressure you want during your massage, and you can always ask for more or less as the massage goes on. I'm ticklish and I want / need people to just really dig into my muscles, and these petite massage therapists can dig like no other! It was the best experience!! My wife and I have been really stressed out and when someone recommended a couples massage I said no way. I was able to talk my her into it and she is so GLAD I did! It was the best experience for both of us as a couple and individually. It was such a great and relaxing place. A wonderful experience that I would recommend. I do believe that my massage here today at Vara could not have been any better. I am a massage addict. I've had LOTS of massages. Vara is the best. Oh my god. This was amazing. I LOVE VARA THAI SPA!!! I've been having terrible problems with a sore shoulder recently, and decided it was finally time to turn my body over to a pro.
