First visit was good. She ordered 2 tests, stated I had some thickening on one of my valves and a couple other cardiac issues, then said I'll see you in a year. A year later I experienced the fastest examination ever. Two techs came in, slapped on a cuff while the other hooked me up for a 30 second EKG. Then the doctor came in, sat down at her laptop, said everything looks good, see you in a year. 5 minutes tops. Doc in a Box insufficient and careless patient care
Dr Westmoreland is the best cardiac care Doctor and medical team in Forsyth
Dr Westmoreland seemed rushed in my appointment. Hardly spent any time with me. She recommended a medication without explaining what she thought was wrong with me and what the side effects of the med were. I asked if there were alternative treatments and she mentioned one without explaining. When I asked about the medications and told her I had concerns her smile turned off quickly and she seemed perturbed with me. I left with more questions than answers. She should work at a doc in the box. She probably actually spends less time than them with her patients.. Condescending mannerism. Didn’t explain or let me know about her “diagnosis”. Had to find it on my chart that she had diagnosed me with anything after the first visit, which freaked me out. Other medical professionals and receptionists like her.
