We were referred to Dr. Leah Schenk at Aspire Fertility in Houston, TX by our OB/GYN and it was the best thing that's ever happened to us. She reviewed all of my medical history and helped us make an informed decision to do IVF. Dr. Schenk and the team at the Fannin (now Main St.) location were amazing. Dr. Hoff and the staff at the Katy office have been absolutely amazing! Very personable and conscious of your time! I could not have asked for a better support system for something that is not always fun! I would highly recommend Dr.Hoff and all the ladies/nurses (Vanessa, Jocelyn and Rebecca) at the Katy office! Katrina in the front office is always super helpful as well! The sweet lady, Jennifer, that has to poke you each time, is not only great at what she does but becomes a sweet friend quickly! I had the most pleasant experience with everyone here at HFI in Pearland. Dr. Hoff was so sweet and understanding to my specific situation, she was able to make me feel at ease the whole time. She answered any random questions I had through the process and made the whole thing feel a lot less overwhelming. We found the whole place to be like an IVF factory, nothing was tailor-made and it was one trick process for all. We have successfully done IVF before and it was a completely different experience., We even question whether the nurses scanning lied about the number of follicles and throughout we never knew length of even accurate number. Its a shame but in truth Dr Schenk does not care or thats how it feels. Go somewhere else.
This process can be confusing and frustrating but the staff did their best to keep communication open and clear. There were times of frustration, mostly with the financial side as it seemed there was a turnover or change in staff there which made it hard to get consistent answers. Overall, being able to see Dr. Hoff each time by following her to the different locations proved vital in both the success of this process and my comfort level, I am so grateful I was given that option. I’ve had 4 miscarriages in the past and several doctors I had would tell me to get a surrogate or just give up. However, Dr. Chauhan never gave up on me. He was there through all the ups and downs, and he was very supportive. When I started having weird symptoms that had nothing to do with pregnancy, he referred me to an excellent neurologist that was able to diagnose me with multiple sclerosis quickly. Dr. Hoff, Rene, Ashley, Hailey and Tasha are the absolute best! They have become a part of my family. We drive a long way to see them and do not want to use any other location because nothing or no one can compare to their care service.
Dr. Hoff is fantastic. She is smart, informative and has one of the best bed-side manners I have ever experienced. I always know exactly what is going on and what to expect.
After visiting another fertility specialist I visited Dr. Hoff in the Pearland office. She is a very optimistic and caring. One of the first things I liked about Dr. Hoff is that she is very thorough and takes the time to answer all your questions.
