Left my dad laying in a bed. didn't do s*** for him. He only have a few weeks left to live. They could have had some kind of care for him, rather than laying at the nurse's station filling their mouths.
Recommended*Fair warning: I do work here, so my post may be a bit biased, but every word of it is true. All I can say is: every person that works at Heartland - administration AND the floor staff - cares so much about each resident. We all want what’s best for the residents and their families. We would love to help them reach their rehabilitation goals or provide a home-like environment for those that might need long term care. More like HeartlessLand health care center. Don't ever go there for anything! They are the worst evil workers there. They talk about you behind your back. They are heartless. Not a place to go for any type of health needs. This place should go under hopefully. Once again, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOSER PLACE!
Very poor communication between nurses/aides and shift changes with caring for special needs patients. My Mom is unable to eat most foods and has strict soft food, low intake needs as she has severe digestion problems. The Dietitian was informed of this and still they were pushing foods like Broccoli, Rice and Chicken. My Mom is now back in the hospital as she was unable to digest these foods and is very sick because of their lack of following instructions. Her skin was also burnt around her ileostomy as it was not cared for... read more
