I waited over an hour past my appointment time to be taken back, and when I was the nurses and staff were very rude. They did not inform me of what was going on while they were doing it, talked to each other while completely ignoring me. And I had multiple staff members coming in and out of my operation room while in the midst of a procedure. They did not check me out, I couldn’t get a work note, and calling the day after I’m still unable to obtain a work note.
A big thank you to the procedure team and nurses that looked after me after my ablation procedure. They were beyond great.

I am ever so grateful for Akron General Hospital and their facilities first and foremost! But when I go to do albumin infusion, which is not real often, I find these ladies as not so friendly with me. I think their problem is that I have to lay down on a bed. I tend to have problems after my Paracentesis if I sit in a hard chair. And that’s where they want me. The nearly 6 ft nurse claims she can’t reach my port on my tiny 4’8” person, due to the bed up against the wall. And I think, move it! What a solution as it is on whee... read more
