Stay far away from this place. Some of their nurses and cnas seem caring, but the way they run things and the higher ups (executive team) are heartless. They fail to realize that they may one day be in a similar position and they may also experience the lack of care that they once provided.
I've dealt with good hospice and bad hospice. This wasn't good. Regret taking the doctor's advice on this one. Home hospice started on a Monday. Nurse came by on Tuesday. Talked meds and realized I knew more than they did. Took vitals of the patient gave some conflicting advice and left. Came back with the social worker on Friday and was left bewildered and frightened because nothing they said had any reassurance. Next 2 days was a downward spiral. My brother passed away on May 22nd. It took 17 days to get one of their doctors to sign his death certificate. They put our family through hell with the run around they gave us. These people are heartless! Shame on you!!
Love this hospice company and everything they have done for my facility and it’s residents. Jennifer and Rachel is one of many great people that I have had the pleasure of working with. She and the company has always been there for us supporting us all hours of day. Hospice can be a very difficult time for family and patients, Heart to Heart has been a company that helps take off some of that burden.
