Heart of the Beast was a wonderful place for me to explore creativity and community when i was young in Minneapolis. It continues to inspire me as I create art, masks and puppets for community events and for my coaching programs for women to guide them to Come Home to You (themselves)
I love the May Day Parade and Festival because it's a mix of all cultures. It gets everybody outside. There's a counter culture feel to it. I love the huge drum circle in Powderhorn Park. I wish they had an outdoor drum circle throughout the months we have nice weather, instead of only on May Day.
