I’ve always loved this shop, but today’s visit was a real 5 star experience. I came with a 5 year old and the woman helping us (I didn’t catch her name but I know her register code is #6 and she’s a new employee) was so extremely patient, and we were there for over an hour. She helped us fabricate a necklace within our gift certificate budget, and gave us all the options for cords, fasteners, etc. We all had such a great time!
The artists in this store can do ANYTHING! They can fix things, redesign things, come up with a zillion beautiful options, and teach you how to make beautiful things yourself. They are so much more than a vendor of beautifully selected beads, stones, and findings. They are helpful, kind, artistic, and excellent teachers for budding jewelry artists. I have been enjoying my visits to Heart Bead since 1993 when I first came to Humboldt to check out the college. Best business on the plaza.
