I am amazed at the thoroughness of the examination . At no time did I feel rushed or that my questions were unimportant. I would definitely recommend this office and staff if you are having a hearing or balance problem.
They were very thrall and knowledgeable. This was no 15 minutes and out the door. My testing and review took almost 2 hours. Highly recommend.
I bring my grandmother here who has dementia. We see Dr. Flowers, and she has been so patient and understanding of her condition. We really appreciate and value the relationship we have with them. We won’t go anywhere else!
Very thorough exam and diagnosis. The folks here work as a team in treating you to get to the root cause of your problem. Luckily mine was probably not as severe as most of their patients, but glad I was able to get in as fast as I did. And come to find out my hearing was better than when I left the military. Still have tinnitus but my balance and dizziness problems are gone. Thank you HBSKC.
If you are looking for an audiologist look no further! I had a bout with positional vertigo and they fixed me right up!
All of the staff members I’ve dealt with at Hearing and Balance Specialists of KC have been helpful and pleasant. Dr. Lake is an outstanding doctor, and she is very personable as well. She is very thorough and takes the time to fully explain things and answer any questions.

From front desk check-in to seeing Dr. Bittel, this is one of the friendliest offices I’ve ever encountered. I’ve never been made to feel so welcome. Dr. Bittel explained things in every day language and even personally answered my emails with questions not once, but twice. We are still working through a treatment plan, but my experience with this office has been nothing but pleasant!
