Been there a few times & it’s been ok. But went there last night and the receptionist has obviously caught a case of attitude. She should quit her job if she hates it that much.
We got charged $137 for a simple earwax removal. That’s over half of the office visit itself ($202). I’m not pleased this additional cost was not disclosed.
HealthEast is all about the money. We were told by our current doctor that we now needed a referral from HealthEast to continue to see her. We called to get this, and HealthEast forced my wife to make an appointment before getting a referral. They then refused to give her a referral, because they had a doctor that could provide a somewhat similar (although not the same) experience. Was sick and made the mistake to come here. All the doctor did was say I had a virus, gave me a slap on the wrist and sent me home. Said I didn’t need a flu test. After going to another clinic, it turned out that I in fact had the flu. Tried calling every day to inform the manager of this and she has yet to return my call. Will continue calling until I get an answer. Shameful!
What happened to all the doctors? They now have one doctor(other then specialists) and a few PA's/NP's. They called and cancelled my dr's appointment, because he left or retired. And they do not have a doctor who will take on new patients.
Great doctors, nurses & support staff. For the patients!
