Unfortunately from talking with the staff here, they are short staffed so the level of care and attention for patients suffers. I’m very disappointed with the communication and compassion from the doctors my dad had here as well. I was told by Dr Kishore, the hospitalist, that Holmes Regional was too small of a hospital and that they don’t do brain surgeries and then told by Dr. Theotodou that he does them all the time at that hospital. I am writing to express my appreciation for the Excellent Nurses at Holmes Regional on the Cardiac PCU unit. The nurses consistently went above and beyond during my hospitalization. The nurses on the PCU unit deserve to be acknowledged for their hard work, compassion, leadership and dedication to the nursing profession. If you go into this hospital it's unlikely you will get your pain medication. My mom is in there now they will not give her pain medication no questions ask she has a severe UTI, and a severe leg infection. They already ministering and IV antibiotics for her. I'm giving these people one star for a reason they will not listen to me I have POA on my mom I asked them to give them pain medication and then denied it. Great hospital. Thank you for all that you do. I’m not putting all their names for privacy but you should know you have great staff, clean, always have been really great, nonjudgmental, and thorough. Nurses, nurse practitioners, nursing assistants, and Melbourne Regional take notes my friends.
This birth experience was absolutely AMAZING. Thank you to the absolute wonderful staff at this hospital. Elizabeth was an absolutely amazing nurse, after we delivered. Maryanne was amazing during delivery, Dr, Cartechine was absolutely over the top wonderful. All of the staff at this hospital made this such a beautiful, and wonderful experience.
