I love the providers in Rheumatology! I went to a different clinic for the first 2 yrs after I moved here where the physician kept telling me I was too old to have Lupus, kept bring me back but wouldn't treat. Someone recommended Dr. Grant and I moved to their office. They have taken excellent care of me. In Addison I have always found them to be professional and caring especially Dana.
The RA department really disappointed me (again).
HOR-RI-BLE!!!! Patient care is absolutely the worse!! Rheumatology Doctor is never available and the staff is unapologetic about it. My appointment was cancelled 4 times and on the 5th cancel, I showed up to my appointment, extremely sick from my unmonitored condition only to be told, I need to find another doctor! I asked for a contact to a patient advocate, I was told by the office they don’t have one! Then I was told I could see the doctor if I pay an extra $200 fee which they could not explain! I am not impressed by this place And would give it zero stars if I could. Doctors do not seem focused on the needs of their patients. They do the bare minimum, if that. Patient had a very painful bone cancer that went undiagnosed for years. Completely inexcusable. 2nd patient had a connective tissue disorder that resulted in disability Because it was never diagnosed by this clinic. This used to be a great clinic years ago.
