Our lovely young year old black mouth cur rescue pup came to us with a tick borne disease and as a result has false arthritis. Our usual vet did every treatment and med she had a available, to no avail. Poor pup could hardly stand on her back legs she pulled herself around with her front legs most of the time. Our original Vet sent us here and with a diet change and accupuncture a whole new dog emerged. Leiny had a few initial treatments across several weeks and has been doing great. We come back in whenever we see she's slo... read more

We had a terrible thing happen to us: our 4-month-old Flemish Giant rabbit broke one of her back legs. If you ever hear a rabbit scream in terror, it's something you will never forget. We are from Western PA so we called dozens of vets in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland, but no one was willing to help us... and they were very curt and dismissive, offering little to no help or any direction. We spent 3 hours looking for someone who would be able to help. We were told repeatedly that vets don't treat rabbits and they... read more

After 5 days of lameness in her back end, difficulty standing up and unable to bare weight on one leg, my 11 year old Sheltie, Ember, was seen by Dr. Stern and her staff. I live nearly 2 hours away, but choose Healing Creatures due to shared beliefs in holistic medicine, herbals and diet. Instead of the typical 20 minute appointment and throwing drugs at symptoms, Dr. Stern spent a lot of time getting to the root of the problem. After some tests, we corroborated and agreed to try a procedure called VOM. Several hours later, ... read more

Business response:

thank you for your kind words. I try my best. And so glad Ember responded so quickly. 💞

Got my little Guinea Pig immediately. GP's don;t do well if not treated quickly. Few vets care for these little critters. Cared for her well, and even followed up by phone a few days later to check up on her! I love that they are holistic too and didn't push antibiotics. She's doing much better! I have a really happy girl!

Last month I discovered that my rabbit had an abscess. It was a challenge to find a vet in the area that specializes in rabbits, until I discovered Healing Creatures. The office is very clean and welcoming and smells great. The staff are friendly and do a thorough exam. They even have a chalkboard that welcomes all of the animals for the day. Though my rabbit will probably have ongoing issues with the abscess, I was given several options for treatment which was helpful. Healing Creatures is a one of a kind Animal Hospital. I... read more

Pretty much all the info she provided me about my snake was false. Made me feel like my sons snake being sick was my fault. I really feel like the medicine she had me pay for and put my snake through distress was all for the money. After speaking with someone who actually knows what they were talking about I realized the vet at healing creatures was completely wrong. So the two check ups I paid for at $70 was pointless. Which is why I got a second opinion. Also her overall demeanor was horrible.

I brought my 1 year old pup in today for increased pigeon toes in the back end, sensitivity in picking the back feet up, and for scuffing his back feet. Learned today his back is slightly out of alignment and that his hips were slightly uneven too. Dr. Stern was fantastic with my boy even though he was nervous and started us on treatment right away

My 19 yr cat has arthritis and acupuncture really helps him. He is always feeling much better the next day and is jumping on and off the bed again.
