I sliced the tip of my finger with a peeler on Thanksgiving morning--an "uh oh" moment that necessitated a trip to the ER. From my years in big cities, I was expecting long delays and harried care due to the holiday--but the ER here was empty and welcoming! We were seen immediately and Dr Wang and the staff got my finger dressed and taken care of efficiently and kindly, using a special methyl cellulose dressing to promote fast healing. 2 weeks later, it is almost entirely healed, w no complications.
