RecommendedDr. Kittrell has now completed 2 tongue tie revisions for our family (3.5 years apart) and we couldn’t be happier! Our sons revision was at 3 days old, and our daughters at 7 weeks. Both went so smoothly and we were so impressed with her knowledge and experience. It was very obvious her office has a lot of experience with ties and they are constantly learning and evolving as well. We are so thankful to have been in such great hands!
Dr. Kittrell and her staff were extremely kind and thorough during and after my son's procedure. It went perfectly and the procedure has completely changed our lives. Nursing is now easy. I wish I had gone to see her with my first child!
Dr. Kittrell and her staff were extremely kind, encouraging, educational and thorough in the diagnosis and treatment of my son’s tongue tie, frenectomy and comprehensive follow up care for many weeks after the initial procedure! Dr Kittrell is wonderful- she helped us with BOTH of my babies’ tongue ties so they could breast feed. Neither baby was straightforward, so her extensive clinical experience was incredibly valuable in giving her the insight to know what was wrong. Dr. Kittrell is incredible. She came to the hospital 24 hours after I gave birth to evaluate my sons tongue tie. She also took care of it for us right away. Now, two years later, she consulted with me on my second son and suggested that we wait based on some recent research on other treatment options. This shows me that she keeps up with the research to keep her practice relevant, effective, and efficient, and she doesn’t suggest unnecessary treatment just to make money. I would recommend this practice every time.
I saw Dr. Kittrell in January to help with breastfeeding issues with my 3 week old son. He had a severe tongue tie, which she was able to take care of immediately in office. The whole staff was welcoming and encouraging, and I was able to sit in and comfort my son during the procedure. Between correcting his tongue tie and their referral out to a lactation consultant, we were able to correct his breastfeeding issues, which made for a happier baby and mom. We were referred to Dr. Kittrell after a suspected diagnosis of tongue-tie in our daughter. Her office was quick to schedule us, and we were treated kindly and compassionately by both she and her staff. As a new mom, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but Dr. Kittrell answered all of my questions and made sure both my daughter and I were comfortable before and after the frenulectomy.
Two of my kids have had procedures with Dr Kittrell and she has always been kind, compassionate, gentle, and intentionally proactive to avoid future issues. Her nursing and support staff are just as wonderful. She corrected a tongue tie in my daughter at 3 weeks, arguably the hardest thing I had done at that point as a mother, and she was as kind to me as she was to my infant. I trust her to treat my kids and highly recommend her practice!
