Update: Mike Shay from the head of the department reached out! Much respect from him and to him. He understood my concerns and frustration and was very apologetic. I am glad that they do care enough to reach out and understand that it’s a stressful time for families. My number one priority is my kid and he understands that. The nursing team at the Rocky Mountain infusion center has been absolutely wonderful over the past almost two years. They bend over backwards to make sure everything is ready for a smooth appointment. They are responsive, kind and engaging with our child. The ease of the appointments are top notch. And we love the therapy dogs so much! We truly couldn’t have gotten through the past few years without them. Thank you so much!
Never in my life have I felt so taken advantage of. On 12/18 my son Owen had a blood draw to check his platelets due to them being a little low when he was born. There was a mistake done by the lab that caused them to report them as dangerously low even though he was totally healthy. This caused the Dr. to tell us we had to admit him into the ER immediately.
