I was very ill 2 weeks ago, and my husband insisted that I go to the Emergency Room. From prior hospitalizations in 2015, we had great treatment at Palms of Pasadena, so we came there rather then any of the closer ER's. I was seen as soon as we walked in. I was treated like I mattered and kept informed of everything they were doing. I ended up having to be hospitalized for 3 days, and I was treated well throughout that time. So you can go in the ER where your surgeon has his own floor and because he can’t figure out the cause of your pain since 2014 and you have multiple surgeries since then. He only wants to medicate you not solve or look into your pain and blows you off 3xs. However since he has done multiple abdominal surgeries no other surgeon wants to touch you since My abdomen is “his surgical field” not my body! I can honestly not say enough nice things about this hospital! I was out of town in Florida, originally from Pittsburgh. Was mislead at a restaurant & ended up having a severe allergic reaction due to my peanut/nut allergy. The doctors and nurses literally saved my life while I was here. I was incredibly blessed to have been surrounded by such intelligent & caring staff while enduring such a traumatic experience. Thank you to the ER & ICU doctors & nurses for your hard work! I truly am thankful.
