I have had the experience of staying at HCA Doctor's Hospital and using their ER. I cannot give these wonderful doctor's, nurses and staff the credit due to them. The care provided was exceptional. My stay in the hospital was so wonderful, I did not want to leave. That was the first for me. Each time I had to visit the ER the care and expertise given to me addressed my issue. I was in your hospital for just about a week with excellent service. The nurses that I had, Blain, Dede and Veronica and the charge nurse Nicholas Ramsey were very helpful. I had other very good nurses but cannot remember the names.

I have had my same healthcare insurance now for 5 years, no change, i have just recently added my husband, I have no issue with BCBS finding me in their system, however their Office Manager says I do not exist on my insurance despite the fact that I even provided her the proof. I have been recently married, and my husband needs hernia surgery ASAP, Dr. Finley was highly recommended to me by the company that recently purchased the company I work for in healthcare. I was a patient for surgery that was canceled because of discovery of a heart condition that should have been known after extensive testing by a cardiologist.. That's not the hospitals fault. After the halting, I was not informed by the surgeon of the problem, he disappeared. The hospital lied to me about arranged care at their HCA hospital. I was sent to the hospital. I had to go to the ER at Northside Hospital twice in the past 3 months. I can't brag enough about the experience........everyone was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The two doctors that saw me, were more than willing to discuss in detail, my condition. I understand that, at one time, this was not the case but what a turnaround. I'm so appreciative of the effort that the employees put forth to help patients who feel vulnerable and unsure. Their smiles are so welcome.

I was there at thier ER on 9/5/25 after a bad fall. I was  in so much pain.Could not stand on my own 2 feet & could not weight bear on the left side of the hip/leg. They knew this. The nurse asked the attending NP if an MRI should be ordered and he said no, just do an X-ray.They then came in and said nothing was broke, gave me a prescription for ibuprofen & discharged me. It has taken this long to review St. Davids South Hospital, because I have been recovering from the incompetence of the attending St. Davids ER doctor. In March 2023, the same day as my last chemo treatment for lung cancer, I was admitted to St. Davids South, for very high blood pressure. The attending doctor ordered meds that brought my blood pressure down but wasn't concerned that it might drop like a led balloon, which it did, when I went home. Outstanding hospital and staff. My wife had spinal surgery September 2025 performed by the world renowned Dr. Poelstra. The surgery went very well and my wife is now well on the road to recovery. During our 3 day stay on the fifth floor, my wife received outstanding care from a professional and compassionate health care team.
