Title: Felt Unsupported and Treated Unfairly My experience at HCA was extremely disappointing. I felt dismissed and not taken seriously, and overall the care did not meet my expectations. There seemed to be bias in how my concerns were handled, which left me feeling frustrated and dehumanized. I hope HCA takes patient feedback seriously and works to improve their approach to care.

Stabed In the neck by some freak outside my job with a screwdriver. Got to this hospital bleeding pretty bad. There decision high price scans. But no treatment to stop the bleeding. Something for pain there. But nothing for afterwards. Guess they figured there wouldn't be pain later . Popped a bandage on me while I'm still bleeding really good. And said later. Got home still bleeding and took hours to try and stop it on my own. If your a lower working citizen with crap Insurance. Don't go here. All they care about is your mo... read more

The hospital did an investigation on my reviews they said they assisted me to the bathroom which I was on an alarm anytime I got out of bed it went off so they gave me the bedpan with no toilet paper they said they gave my meds at 9:27 a.m. which my husband was there and I did not receive my medication until around 3:00 p.m. that's falsification of medical records I bet a nurse 30 years and if I acted that way I would have been fired from any Hospital our trauma ICU at UNF so I know what it's like to be a nurse I also know w... read more

I tried unsuccesfully to have a hernia surgery at the hospital. The doctor, the hospital and the procedure were all covered under my insurance. I called the office of Financial Responsibility to get a better understanding of how much my ultimate cost would be. After numerous attempts, the woman in the office finally called me back to let me know a 30 minute outpatient surgery would be $117,000!!!! This was the hospital's charge and did not include the surgeons fee, medications, post operative care or the anesthelogist fee!! ... read more

This hospital has gone way down hill! My sister-in-law went into the ER and was basically admitted for 3 days but kept in an ER side room that wasn't even a real room. It was storage for equipment really. No TV or anything and then just released from the ER after 3 days because they never had a room available for her. Now my niece was brought in through the trauma unit for a very serious car accident and has been waiting on a bed since last night. She has a fractured neck and several severe lacerations. This hospital was a nightmare, a life event all in of itself! Nurses and staff act as though they "Hate " their job and take it out (abuse) on the sick, and hurting patient. The hospital was dirty the staff's mouths were dirty also laughing and cursing while sick people waiting forever to be seen in their ER (they advertise "Be treated not seated" what a Lie!!! The worst hospital in Jacksonville. The cardiologist department the head nurse is terrible. The register nurses unprofessional.The cargiologists are thinking about business not patients. They discharged my husband with huge infection without follow up appointments and rehabilitation. The nephrologist Dr.Salameh did not show up for 4 days .I had a horrible time in Memorial Hospital. Lack of communication .DR.Mueller offered rehabilitation to my husband a week later my husband passed away.

The worst yet again can y’all please do better training my night nurse Theresa on 5 west needs a lot of training I’m having a blood transfusion so I explained that your not suppose to check blood pressure on that arm so she gets an attitude and starts to get rude I mean if u don’t wanna do your job please quit than proceeds to check my blood pressure in the same spot on my opposite arm 5 times these people shouldn’t be working with the public at all if their gonna be rude and stupid to things they went to school for this... read more

It has taken me almost 15 years to write this review, I went in to labor and my doctors are Women’s New Horizon Medical Group. Unfortunately, during the holiday season, they had taken vacation and I guess hired another doctor to be on call that was not a part of their practice. Dr. Hartard(spelling).
