The pediatric ER at this hospital was extremely disappointing. The nurses and physicians were kind and professional, but the department itself does not seem adequately equipped to function as a true pediatric emergency department. We waited for hours for my 2-year-old son to have an EEG, only to be told they didn’t have anyone available who could perform the test on a child his age. I was admitted for respiratory issues short of breath heavy cough and immediately as I entered I at 3:00 a.m. maybe a little bit later,A staff of 3 nurses took immediate care of me they had my bed my gown and hook me up to all the necessary monitoring machine heart rate oxygen etc the staff was amazing especially this one nurse named Vanessa I was in the third floor and they were absolutely great all the doctors the whole team. The nurses and assistants provided exceptional attention to my wife’s needs. The hospital maintained a pristine environment, and the staff was exclusively professional. I highly recommend this hospital.
